I love the different layouts and options. I like that I can color small sections and still create a great design. Don't feel compelled to color each and every section, be creative and use color to 'highlight' the designs!

I got this book as a gift in the Autumn of 2018 as a stress reliever from my teaching job. It is true it does work. As an elementary public school teacher in an inner city. After the day of teaching especially Monday and Tuesdays which are late days, I am so wound up full of stress as well as tired I need something to helped me unwind, refocus and relax This book offers just the trick. Even if I use it for just a couple of minutes . I have also used it before heading off to the the gym or writing lesson plans as well also bought a copy of the book as a gift for a friend. Lastly I have made copies of a page for my students to color as a fun Friday activity or something to do for a few minutes if they finish their current work before the rest of my class. It is worth the monry to purchaese it.

Coloring books allow us to reenter the magical world of childhood. “When Dogs Fly” creates that magic through charming and whimsical, sometimes mesmerizing designs that combine dogs and planes. Olga takes us on a special adventure, and like jumping into a swimming pool, we become part of that adventure. The coloring pages are fun and funny, and just looking at the intricate, beautiful patterns makes my heart open. “When Dogs Fly” taps me on the shoulder and reminds me of the beauty and the excitement of the world.
I was so fortunate to have attended a book signing by Olga Horvat and purchased her book. I went home, started the book, and I could not put it down until I was finished. It was well written and kept me riveted to the very end. Having met the author personally and spending quite a bit of time chatting with Olga and her lovely young teenage daughter, Katharine, I would have never guessed what awaited me between the pages of her story. Her warmth and kindness left me with no doubt about her credibility. It was obvious that after reading this book, this family was put through tremendous spiritual growth lessons, and how they came out at the other end serves as a strong example that moving forward and trusting the Universe can change one's life in incredible, profound and UNEXPECTED ways. My heart went out to Olga and her family and especially, Princess, her beautiful poodle whom the family loved so much, for what they ALL experienced. Thank you, Olga, for sharing your story and for all the good work you have done on behalf of animal rights, and that I know you will continue to do now and in the future concerning your healing work for animals and their owners!
Paranormal Pooch is a book written by Olga Horvat. Olga writes based on her personal experience with a cute little poodle named Princess. Being a huge animal lover, I knew I was going to love this book from the moment I heard about it.
As I started to read this book, I thought, is this going to be scary? Is it going to be emotional? As I started turning more pages, I really got into it. I fell in love with the fact that Olga loved her dog so much! It reminded me of how close I am with my little chihuahua Bullet.
This book is a true story told by the woman who went through it. It is a first hand account of the supernatural and how our animals can be effected. There is so much more to this book than just your normal "I love my dog" story. It is a true tale of a woman, her family, and the great love they all share for animals.
While reading this book, I was able to learn new things and also read about things that I already knew about but wasn't sure anyone else understood or believed. It was refreshing to read a true story regarding things that I believe in and things that truly do exist.
I was very happy that there was a Q&A section in the back of the book with paranormal expert Lorraine Warren. She is amazing and I have watched her for a long time on different shows and such. She is best known for her affiliation with the Amityville Horror case, another favorite of mine.
I strongly recommend this book for animal lovers and paranormal believers alike. It is a good book and well written. I found it extremely informative having provided links to different websites throughout the book.
Paranormal Pooch: A True Story of the Dog Who Healed One Family
Paranormal Pooch is a miraculous tale about one family's four-month sojourn into an incredible, unknown side of the canine world. The kind of experiences they went through have never been fully documented in nonfiction. It is like something out of the Twilight Zone or a Stephen King thriller, only this is real.
Prominent paranormal experts such as Lorraine Warren, Nathan Robert Brown, Joshua P. Warren and others were interviewed and featured in this book. They gave their professional opinions on what was going on with Horvat's family and their beloved dog Princess.
This book was featured on CNN Anderson Cooper 360; New York Live TV Show, WNBC, Channel 4; and dozens of radio shows throughout the US, Canada, Europe and Australia.
Olga Horvat’s well-written, fast-paced personal story about her beloved dog that brought all sorts of misfortunes to her family is thought-provoking. It makes you aware of how limited human perception is, and that behind the façade of the three-dimensional, material world there is an invisible world we rarely have access to and know very little about. "Paranormal Pooch" is also a testimony to the role animals play in our lives: they can be our teachers that help us grow spiritually. Which is exactly what happened to Olga and her family.
It was clear that a lot of research went into "Paranormal Pouch". I was amazed by some of the events and their related effects.
I was also able to relate the spirituality to two of the dogs I had owned. I had a Schnauzer who I felt brought my family bad luck, and after my parents died, I had a Jack Russell Terrier who I felt brought me good luck and protected me.
I really connected with the book, and it made it hard to dispute the spirituality within all of us.
I enjoyed the book immensely. I still get teary eyed when I think of Princess' tragic end. The oddest thing was that I felt a strong connection to Princess. I read the book in three days during those days strange things occurred throughout my house. On the first day the computer printer kept turning on without explanation. The second day I had an infestation of ants in an isolated area by the book. On the third day I had an infestation of about twenty horse flies in the house which disappeared as quickly as they came, to date I am unable to explain how they got into the house and/or how they got out. It all ended when I completed reading the book. In addition I was totally amazed by Olga's training, education, and knowledge. Olga has been grooming my dogs since 2006, it was immediately apparent that she held a special bond with animals. Olga, thank you fo sharing your story with us, you truly are an amazing woman.
Good writer! Nice that animals stay around us! Very enjoyable and descritive. Would like to know if the family adopted any more animsls!
Olga Horwat's book is a inspiring story of a woman, her family, and their special pet poodle. I am sure for those interested in the psychic aspects of this story, it will be fascinating. Beyond that, it is an inspiring, tender, and sometimes painful saga of a faimily's struggles among the humans and between them and their exceptional dog. This book will touch the heart of all those who love animals and have embraced them as part of their life.
I highly recommend "Paranormal Pooch" for anybody who loves dogs, especially those whose lives has been transformed by a special pup. It's the true story of how a poodle named Princess helped her owners find healing and begin their spiritual journey. Princess' life was difficult and short, yet she clearly loved her owners, despite the eerie dark forces that were gripping onto her and making every day a challenge. The author, Olga Horvat, gives great advice and tips about spiritual protection and healing, and even includes informative and factual interviews with paranormal experts. My Chihuahua and I give it four dog paws up!
I found the book to be a pleasant, quick read chock full of anecdotes that were quite entertaining. It kind of reminded me when as a young person I watched "Lassie" as each episode grabbed your attention. At the end of each show or story, you looked forward to the next one. This book has the same sort of expectation. Most books on ghosts are just workman-like narrations. In this book, you will enjoy reading the down-to-earth and supernatural adventures of this pet.
I couldn't put the book down and was able to read it in one day. The story was horrific and unbelievable in many ways, but I do believe Olga because I met her and shared a cabin with her on a cruise. It is my opinion that she is not making this all up and she speaks from the heart. I would not recommend this book to everyone because it is disturbing to think that a sweet, innocent puppy could be possessed by evil forces, but I do believe it is possible. I am not a religious zealot, but rather more of a new ager, so I like to concentrate on the positive and believe that we are all one because we are all children of God, but it is important to also realize that there are people and entities that reject the Light and truly are Evil. That is why it is important to have a belief in some sort of Higher Being to protect us from evil forces. Not everyone goes to heaven. If you are living in darkness, doubt, greed, and hatefulness now, you will be that same person once you die and cross over to the other side. God does not reject you....you reject God and forces of Light, Love, Wisdom, Forgiveness, and Compassion. The family was either agnostic or atheistic. As a result of their experiences with the malevolent energies, they turned to God and angelic energies to help cast out the Darkness with Light of divine energies. Olga thereby courageously shares an important message which will not be popular with everyone, but which could be literally life saving for those who need to hear the message and do take heed.
